Jaemin (Justin) Jun is the Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder at ReThred Apparel. He specializes in establishing brand identity and managing the overall aesthetics of ReThred Apparel. He also regularly involves in marketing projects and website construction by continuously seeking how to effectively appeal and further reach the audiences. As a Co-Founder, he is part of managing the members and makes sure the company maintains its status quo. Since our inception, his interest in business, economics, sustainability, and arts and music have contributed to not just attaining the mission of the company but also has largely influenced others to fight for the environment.
Justin, born and raised in South Korea, is currently a junior at Korea International School, Jeju Campus. Outside the classroom, he is a strong leader, public speaker, and passionate activist, participating in Student Council, Amnesty International, and multiple Model United Nations conferences. His passion for sustainability sparked from the Berkeley Business Academy for Youth at the Haas School of Business in Berkeley, California. There, he was one of the 5 entrepreneurs of “Fibra”, along with Andrew, creating a pitch with a vision to change the apparel industry with sustainable, unconventional, yet comfortable clothing. This became the start of ReThred Apparel LLC, and joined the board of executives with few colleagues from the Academy. In his free time, he leads a pop-rock band called Harmonix as a keyboardist, and he has digitally published an album titled Horizon with The Quad. He is also an avid golfer, scoring at around 80 to 90 strokes on average per 18 holes.
